Man Arrested Over Fiery Spree in Wolverhampton
Lee Potts, 39, has been slammed with animal cruelty, public order, and dangerous dog charges after a string of arson attacks rocked Wolverhampton early Friday morning.
Early Morning Blaze Sparks Chaos
At around 3.30am, emergency services were called to a small fire at the Horse and Jockey pub on Church Street in Bilston. The chaos didn’t stop there. Flames quickly spread as multiple vehicles on Union Street, Bell Street, and Greencroft were set alight or damaged.
Police Dog Attacked During Suspect Hunt
Police tracked Potts down in a park off Millfield Road. He was spotted with a dog when officers moved in. During the arrest, a police dog named PD Snow was attacked but luckily escaped without injury.
Upcoming Court Date and Appeal for Witnesses
