Teen Charged with Murder After Nuneaton Stabbing
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of 25-year-old Tom Ellis in Nuneaton. The attack happened on Queens Road on the evening of June 8, just before 9:30pm. Tom Ellis tragically died shortly after suffering a deadly stab wound.
Police Act Fast, Arrest Four Teens
Warwickshire Police launched a swift investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and piecing together the events. They identified four boys who were present during the stabbing and arrested them on suspicion of murder. Within 72 hours, the main suspect – the 16-year-old believed to have delivered the fatal blow – was charged.
- One 15-year-old boy has been released without charges.
- Two 14-year-olds were released on bail.
- On June 11, a separate 14-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of murder.
