In the early hours of Saturday morning, emergency services were called to a stabbing incident on Lewisham Way, SE14. The incident occurred at approximately 4.34am
Shortly after the initial call, a man in his 20s arrived at a south London hospital with stab wounds. His injuries are currently being treated as life-threatening.
The police have established a large crime scene encompassing Lewisham Way, New Cross Road, Amersham Road, Shardeloes Road, and Parkfield Road. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and is currently in police custody.
