A tragic accident last night in Kings Worthy resulted in the death of a man in his 20s. The collision, which involved a black Keeway motorcycle and a white Ford Ranger pick-up truck, occurred at the junction of London Road and Church Lane.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 10:30pm. The motorcyclist, a young man from Winchester, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed by police officers.
No other injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Hampshire Constabulary is now appealing for witnesses to come forward. A police spokesperson stated: “We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision itself, or to the movements of either vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision. We would particularly like to speak to anyone with relevant dashcam footage.”
