Seven-Year-Old Boy Dies in Lewisham Flat Blaze – Arson Probe Underway

A terrifying early morning fire has claimed the life of a seven-year-old boy in Lewisham. Police launched an arson investigation after the blaze ripped through a flat on Adolphus Street, SE8, at 3.25am on Tuesday, 7 August.

Rescue Efforts and Tragic Discovery

Emergency services, including police, London Fire Brigade, and Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene to tackle the flames. Sadly, the young boy was found dead inside the property.

His next of kin have been notified. The fire is being treated as suspicious, with officers working closely alongside fire investigators.

Neighbours Evacuated, Two Women Hurt

Nearby homes were evacuated as a safety precaution. Two women were taken to a central London hospital by ambulance. Thankfully, their injuries are not life-threatening.
