Tractor Fire in Hawkhurst Extinguished by Firefighters

A tractor fire broke out on Thursday afternoon, 22 August 2024, on Slip Mill Lane in Hawkhurst, prompting a swift response from the Kent Fire and Rescue Service. The incident occurred at around 4.38pm and was brought under control within an hour.

Two fire engines from Tunbridge Wells were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus for protection, used a compressed air foam system (CAFs) to successfully extinguish the flames.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, with authorities working to determine what sparked the blaze.
