A tractor went up in flames on Thursday afternoon, 22 August 2024, in Hawkhurst’s Slip Mill Lane. The Kent Fire and Rescue Service jumped into action at around 4.38pm and had the fire under control within an hour.
Firefighters Use High-Tech Gear to Tackle Blaze
Two fire engines from Tunbridge Wells sped to the scene. Fire crews donned breathing apparatus for safety and deployed a compressed air foam system (CAFs) to douse the flames swiftly and effectively.
