Fire Safety Spotlight After Grenfell Report Release
The Catford fire broke out on the very day the final Grenfell Tower Inquiry report was published — the tragedy that claimed 72 lives back in 2017.
The devastating incident at Grenfell sparked a nationwide overhaul of fire safety regulations. Authorities now face pressure to tighten safeguards and prevent further disasters.
The cause of today’s fire remains under investigation.
