In a grim 42-hour period across London, three separate shootings left one man dead and two others injured, sparking police investigations. The incidents took place between September 4 and 5, 2024, in West Kilburn, Woolwich, and Harlesden.
Man in His 20s Dies After Shooting in West Kilburn
A man in his 20s, identified locally as Tikquaan Walters, was fatally shot in Bravington Road, West Kilburn, on the night of September 4. Police responded to reports at around 11 p.m., and Walters, 28, was pronounced dead shortly before midnight.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley from the Met’s murder squad appealed to the public for information, especially any footage captured on doorbell or dash cameras. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Jolley said, “The incident took place in a residential street, and as a result, I am sure there are people who may have captured footage that could be vitally important for us. I urge anyone with information to come forward.”
Man in His 20s Hospitalised After Woolwich Shooting
Just after 11:50 p.m. on September 4, police responded to reports of gunfire on Kingsman Street in Woolwich. Officers discovered shell casings and a damaged vehicle but found no sign of the victim or suspects.
At 11:56 p.m., the London Ambulance Service alerted police to a man in his 20s who had been shot in nearby Church Street. He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital. His condition was assessed as non-life-threatening. Police have yet to make any arrests as enquiries continue.
Man Shot in Ankle in Harlesden
On the night of September 5, a man admitted himself to the hospital after being shot in the ankle in Harlesden. Police were called to Church Road around 11 p.m., where they found a car and a fast food restaurant’s windows damaged by gunfire.
The man’s injury was later confirmed to be non-life-threatening. No arrests have been made, but police are conducting urgent enquiries into the incident.

In all three cases, police have appealed for information from the public. As of now, no arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Metropolitan Police.
