Police are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating 24-year-old Kabir Singh, who has been missing from Enfield since August 1. He was last seen entering Trent Country Park and was possibly there to meet a friend, though this has not been confirmed. Kabir was reported missing on August 10, over a week after he was last seen.
Officers are particularly eager to hear from anyone who may have seen Kabir in the park or who might have met him on the day of his disappearance.
CCTV footage from August 1 shows Kabir wearing a grey t-shirt with black writing across the chest, brown walking boots, and carrying a large black rucksack with a hole in the top, which was not part of its original design.
Detective Sergeant Colin Hedges from the North Area Missing Person Unit said:
Trent Country Park is a large area visited by hundreds of people daily. I would like to speak to anyone who saw or spoke to Kabir or someone matching his description. His disappearance is out of character, and his friends and family are deeply worried about him.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of activity on his mobile phone and bank accounts, we cannot rule out the possibility that Kabir has come to harm. However, we have no evidence of third-party involvement, and this remains a missing person investigation.
Anyone who has seen Kabir or has any information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the police by calling 101 or 999 if the sighting is recent. Please quote CAD reference 5719/14AUG24.
