Man in 20s Suffers Serious Head Injury After Go-Kart Crash in Wiltshire

Wiltshire Police are hunting for witnesses after a young man was seriously hurt in a go-kart smash on the Hawksworth Trading Estate last night (15 September).

Go-Kart Loses Control, Hits Bollard

The petrol-powered go-kart suddenly left the road just before midnight on Newcombe Drive and smashed into a bollard. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, and the driver – a man in his twenties – was rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing head injuries.

Road Closure as Police Probe Serious Collision

Newcombe Drive remains shut while the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) carries out a full inquiry. Police say the road should reopen by around noon today.
