All traffic on the M25 near Surrey has come to a standstill following a van fire that broke out this morning, causing significant delays for motorists. The incident occurred on the M25 anticlockwise between Junction 7 (Redhill) and the M23 in Godstone at around 7:30 am today (September 18).
National Highways confirmed on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) that motorists are experiencing delays of at least 30 minutes above normal travel times. Authorities are urging drivers to allow extra time for their journeys.
