Bexley Men Charged with Manslaughter After Fatal Bus Collision in Erith
Tragic Late-Night Incident on West Road
Two men from Bexley have been charged with manslaughter following the death of Amamudin Alikhel, also known as Ali Khan, who was struck by a bus in Erith. The 40-year-old Mark Pearce of Lower Road and 18-year-old Markie Collins from Galleon Close remain under investigation.
The fatal incident happened on August 28, 2023, at around 10:25 p.m. Emergency services were called to West Road, where police and paramedics found Ali Khan suffering serious injuries after being hit by a bus. Despite their efforts, Khan was pronounced dead at the scene.
