A man is fighting for his life following a violent stabbing in Cambridge on Wednesday afternoon. The attack occurred in the King’s Hedges area, specifically on Nicholson Way, near King’s Hedges Road.
Cambridgeshire Police were called around noon by the East of England Ambulance Service after reports of a man being stabbed. The victim was quickly transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A police spokesperson confirmed that officers were at the scene and would likely remain for an extended period. A large police presence and a cordon have been established in the area to preserve forensic evidence, while officers continue to search the vicinity for any additional clues.
