Man Dies After Stabbing at London’s World’s End Estate

A murder probe is underway after 28-year-old Omarkafi Sahal died following a stabbing in Kensington and Chelsea’s World’s End Estate. The victim battled for his life in hospital for over two weeks before passing on 17 October.

Nightmare Stabbing Sparks Urgent Police Response

Police were called just before 9pm on Monday, 30 September, after reports of a stabbing in SW10. Officers arrived with London Ambulance and Air Ambulance teams to find Omarkafi with a serious stab wound. He was rushed to a central London hospital but sadly never recovered.

Three Men Charged – Investigation Intensifies

Detectives initially from Kensington and Chelsea opened an inquiry which has now escalated to a homicide case led by Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell.

“This is a tragic development in this investigation, and my thoughts are with Omarkafi’s family at this time,” said DCI Foxwell. “Three men were charged before Omarkafi’s death, and we are reviewing those charges. The investigation is not over. Anyone with information should come forward — your tip could be vital.”

Superintendent Owen Renowden added: “This is a shocking incident. We’ve increased police presence across the area, working with neighbourhood teams and local partners. Residents with concerns should speak to officers or call 101.”

The three charged men have appeared in court. Police will now liaise with the Crown Prosecution Service over potential charge updates.
