Serious Bus Crash in Stockwell Leaves Pedestrian Critical

Detectives hunting for witnesses after a terrifying crash in Stockwell are pleading for dashcam or CCTV footage.

Late-Night Smash on South Lambeth Road

At 12:26am on Saturday 26 October, London Ambulance Service alerted police to a collision involving a single-decker bus and a male pedestrian at the South Lambeth Road and Lansdowne Way junction (SW8).

Emergency teams rushed to the scene and gave first aid before rushing the man to hospital. He remains in a critical condition, with his identity still unknown.

Driver Co-operating, Roads Reopened

The bus driver stayed at the scene and is fully assisting police. They have not been arrested. Road closures that were in place during the investigation have now been lifted.
