14-Year-Old Seriously Injured on Raw Lane

A 14-year-old boy was left with multiple injuries, including a broken arm, after being hit by a car on Raw Lane, Illingworth, Halifax. The shocking hit-and-run happened around 7:15pm on Friday, October 25, as the teenager crossed the road.

Driver Flees Scene in Black Range Rover

West Yorkshire Police say the vehicle involved is believed to be a black Range Rover. Witnesses report it turned left onto Raw Lane from Keighley Road before smashing into the boy. The driver made off immediately, leaving the injured teen behind.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are urgently hunting for witnesses or dashcam footage. Anyone who saw the crash or the suspect vehicle is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101 or via their LiveChat. Quote reference 1628 of October 25.
