Man Held After Attack Near Leisure Park
A 21-year-old man has been charged following a shocking sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl in Littlehampton. Gulahmad Oryakhail, from Pier Road, was arrested on October 27 after the incident near Maltravers Leisure Park on October 25.
Serious Charges and Court Date Set
Oryakhail faces charges of sexual assault and stalking. He was remanded in custody and will appear at Lewes Crown Court on November 26 to answer these charges.
Victim Receiving Specialist Support
The young victim is now receiving ongoing care from specially trained officers who assist those affected by sexual violence. Police are urging victims to come forward and promise full support and justice.
