Storm-Damaged Tree Crushes Car on Test Drive – Miraculously, No Injuries!
Chaos on Five Oaks Road After Tree Smashes Test Drive Car
Drama hit Five Oaks Road near Horsham yesterday when a massive tree, weakened by recent storms, toppled onto a car during a test drive. The vehicle, owned by Lyons Farm Cars, had a customer behind the wheel with family members on board. Amazingly, everyone escaped without a scratch, though the ordeal left them visibly shaken.
Road Closure Sparks Traffic Chaos
The fallen tree smashed the car to bits and forced authorities to shut down Five Oaks Road. Local residents faced frustrating delays and disrupted routes. Lyons Farm Cars quickly issued a statement to calm nerves and asked for patience while the road stays closed.
“You may be wondering why the road is closed on Five Oaks Road and why you cannot get home easily… a tree fell and crushed one of our cars whilst it was on a drive. Everyone is ok if not shaken up,” the dealership said.
Dealership Slams Reckless Drivers
While relieved no one was hurt, Lyons Farm Cars took aim at selfish motorists. They lambasted the “wheel-spinning” drivers causing more chaos by weaving recklessly in and out of their car park.
“The amount of drivers that have been wheel-spinning in and out of our car park has been a bit disappointing to say the least,” they said. “Be grateful the tree didn’t fall on you or your loved ones.”
