Man Seriously Injured in Hastings Hit-and-Run
Police are hunting witnesses after a serious collision between a grey Seat Ateca Xperience and a pedestrian in Hastings.
The crash happened on Pinders Road at around 1:20am on Sunday, December 1. A 36-year-old man was left with serious injuries and remains in hospital.
Investigation and Arrest Underway
Officers are actively searching for the vehicle involved and have released images to help track it down.
A 32-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He’s now been bailed with strict conditions as police continue their investigation.
Police Plea: Witnesses and Footage Needed
Sussex Police are urging anyone who:
- Witnessed the crash,
- Has CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area, or
- Knows the whereabouts of the Seat Ateca
to come forward immediately.
