Man Stabbed in Margate Town Centre, 32-Year-Old Man and Woman Arrested
Stabbing Shakes Margate
A man remains in serious condition after a stabbing in Margate town centre on Friday evening, December 13, 2024. The attack happened shortly after 6:30 PM on Cowper Road, right outside a local convenience store.
Emergency crews, including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. The victim was airlifted to a London hospital with stab wounds. Police confirmed he is still fighting for life.
Two Held Over Brutal Attack
Police quickly arrested a 32-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman in connection with the assault. Both suspects are now in custody as detectives dig deeper.
Police Hunt Witnesses and CCTV
Kent Police have cordoned off part of Cowper Road. Forensic teams are combing the area for clues. Officers are urgently calling on anyone who saw the attack or has CCTV footage to come forward.
“This was a serious incident, and we are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has relevant information that could aid the investigation,” said a Kent Police spokesperson.
