A man has been hospitalised after being stabbed in the neck in a knife attack on Ilford Lane, East London, on New Year’s Day.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of the attack. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to the hospital for further care. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.

The Metropolitan Police have established a crime scene, and officers remain on guard as investigations continue.
A police spokesperson at the scene said:
“We were called to Ilford Lane on New Year’s Day to reports of a person stabbed in the neck. A crime scene is in place, and enquiries are ongoing.”

At this stage, it is not known if any arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist their investigation.
