Burglary Arrest in Maidstone: Man Held After Flat Break-In
Union Street Flat Targeted
A flat on Union Street was broken into on 25 July 2021, with thieves making off with car keys and other stolen items.
Quick Arrest Made
Jason Higgins, 51, from Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, was arrested the very next day in connection with the burglary.
Charged and Remanded
Higgins faced charges of burglary with intent to steal and breaching a criminal behaviour order. He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 30 July and was remanded in custody.
Next Court Date Set
His next hearing is scheduled for 27 August at Maidstone Crown Court.
