Woman in Critical Condition After Multi-Vehicle Crash on A346 Near Marlborough

A woman is in a life-threatening condition following a serious multi-vehicle collision on the A346 Salisbury Road near Marlborough.

The incident occurred at around 1:15 PM yesterday (21 January) when a lorry, traveling towards Burbage, stopped to turn right at Browns Farm. Three vehicles slowed behind the lorry before a Kia Sorento collided with a van at the back of the line. The impact caused the Kia to cross the road and collide with an oncoming vehicle.

Injuries

The driver and front passenger of the Kia Sorento, both aged in their 70s, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospital. The woman’s condition is described as life-threatening, while the man is receiving treatment for severe injuries.

Appeal for Witnesses

Wiltshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) is appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the collision to come forward.
