A 16-year-old boy has been seriously wounded in a stabbing incident in Bordesley Green, prompting a major police investigation.

Violent Attack in Pretoria Road

The attack occurred on Pretoria Road around 3:30 PM on Saturday (February 15). Emergency services rushed to the scene following multiple 999 calls reporting a knife attack.

West Midlands Police officers arrived to find the teenage victim suffering from severe stab wounds. Paramedics stabilised him at the scene before he was rushed to hospital, where medical staff have confirmed his condition is stable.

Hospital Disturbance Linked to Attack

Shortly after the stabbing, police were alerted to a disorder at a Birmingham hospital, believed to be connected to the incident. Authorities quickly heightened security measures to protect staff and patients.

Police Appeal for Information

West Midlands Police are conducting extensive enquiries into the attack, urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
