Teen Girl Stabbed in Sheffield – 13-Year-Old Boy Arrested
Shock in Sheffield as a 13-year-old girl was stabbed in the abdomen on Tuesday night. Police were called to the scene around 9 p.m. following reports of the attack.
The girl was rushed to hospital by ambulance and remains in stable condition. A 13-year-old boy from Sheffield has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody.
Police Continue Investigation Amid Community Concern
“We know that this incident will have caused deep concern amongst the local community and beyond,” said Detective Superintendent Nikki Leach.
“We have arrested a 13-year-old boy in connection with the incident, and our investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the victim’s stabbing. We believe the victim and suspect are acquainted, and we are confident there is no greater risk to the public.”
