Chaos on Lewisham Bus: Multiple Injured After Emergency Stop

Several people were hurt when a Lewisham bus made a sudden emergency manoeuvre, throwing standing passengers to the floor. The drama unfolded today on Longbridge Way, leaving many shaken and injured.

Rapid Emergency Response at the Scene

Met Police officers were quick on the scene, administering first aid to those injured while waiting for paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Multiple victims were then rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.

Road Reopens After Incident Causes Disruption

Longbridge Way was shut between the A21 Lewisham High Street and Courthill Road but has now reopened. Authorities have yet to release further details as investigations continue.
