Crash on Hackney Road Sparks Emergency Response

A man was taken to hospital following a two-car collision on Hackney Road, Cambridge Heath, late Sunday night (16 March).

Emergency services were scrambled to the scene around 9:30pm after reports of a road traffic collision came through.

Ambulance and Fire Crews Rush to Scene

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) deployed multiple units, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and a paramedic from the tactical response unit.

Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade also attended to secure the area and assist emergency teams.

Five People Escape Vehicles – One Injured

Crews found two vehicles involved in the crash, with five people already out of their cars before responders arrived.

One man was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. His condition remains unknown.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 9.30pm on Sunday 16 March to reports of a road traffic collision on Hackney Road, E2. We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and a paramedic from our tactical response unit. We treated a man at the scene and took him to hospital.”
