Tragic Late-Night Bike Crash Kills Two Teens in Wrexham

A devastating motorbike crash in New Broughton, Wrexham, has claimed the lives of two teenagers. The fatal collision happened just before 11pm on Friday, 21 March, on Wrexham Road.

Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a serious crash involving a yellow Honda 125cc motorbike. The rider, an 18-year-old male, and his 19-year-old passenger were both taken to hospital but died shortly after.

Police Launch Probe Into Deadly Solo Motorcycle Crash

North Wales Police confirmed no other vehicles were involved. A serious collision investigation is now underway to uncover the cause of this tragic smash.

“Our profound sympathies go out to all affected by this terrible incident,” said Sergeant Liam Morris from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit. “We urge anyone who witnessed the crash or was nearby at the time to come forward.”

Officers are especially keen to see any dashcam footage showing the yellow motorbike just before the collision.

Wrexham Road Shut as Forensics Hunt for Clues

The road between Coed Efa Lane and Dale Road was closed for several hours while forensic experts combed the scene. It has since reopened to traffic.

“A big thanks to those who stopped to help and to motorists for their patience during the closure,” Sgt Morris added.
