Fatal Smash on Turnpike Road

Sussex Police are hunting witnesses after a motorcyclist tragically died in a serious crash in Amberley, West Sussex. The horror collision happened around 5.30pm on Sunday, 30 March, on Turnpike Road (B2139) near the junction with Newland Gardens.

66-Year-Old Biker Loses Life

Emergency crews rushed to the scene following reports of a smash involving a motorcycle and a van. Despite desperate efforts by paramedics and air ambulance teams, the 66-year-old biker from Kent was pronounced dead at the spot. Police confirmed his family have now been informed.

Call for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time to come forward. Sussex Police urge witnesses to get in touch immediately.
