Seafront Assault Sparks Police Hunt in Sittingbourne
A shocking attack at Sittingbourne’s High Street seafront has left police hunting for more witnesses. The brawl broke out just after 5pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, where four or five suspects reportedly assaulted another group before making a quick getaway.
Bladed Weapon Seized as Police Launch Investigation
Officers arrived swiftly and recovered a bladed weapon at the scene. While no serious injuries were initially reported, police now believe one person may have sustained minor harm following the incident.
Three Teenagers Arrested Over Public Disorder
Authorities arrested three boys from the Sittingbourne area — two aged 16 and one 15 — on suspicion of causing public disorder. Two were later released on bail with orders to return on July 4, but one remains in custody.
Witness Appeal: Dashcams, CCTV Could Crack Case
“We’re urgently appealing for anyone who saw the fight or has footage, including motorists with dashcams or local businesses with CCTV, to come forward,” said Detective Inspector Vanessa Law of Margate CID.
