Deadly Blast Rocks Southall Shop

A devastating explosion tore through a shop on King Street, Southall, early Wednesday morning, leaving two dead at the scene.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police, London Fire Brigade, and London Ambulance Service were called at 6.40am on 21 October after reports of a blast inside the shop. Responders rushed in to find two people tragically pronounced dead. Their identities are yet to be confirmed, with families not yet informed.

Investigation Underway, Area Locked Down

Officials suspect a gas explosion but have not ruled out other causes. The building’s structural safety is being assessed before experts can check for more casualties. Road closures and evacuations of local residents remain in place as police work with fire services and local authorities.

Cordons have been extended to keep the public safe while the probe continues. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
