Chaos erupted in Gravesend at around 1am on Saturday, 19 April, when reports came in of a man possibly armed inside a home on East Terrace. Kent Police rushed to the scene with armed support and quickly arrested a 34-year-old man linked to the incident.

“Kent Police was called at about 1am on Saturday 19 April 2025 following reports of a disturbance at a property in East Terrace, Gravesend, and that a man inside may have been in possession of weapons. Officers supported by armed patrols attended the address and a 34-year-old man has been arrested. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
So far, no injuries have been reported and police have yet to confirm the exact nature of the disturbance.
