House Boat Blaze at Hoo Marina Sparks Emergency Response
Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to a house boat fire at Hoo Marina in Rochester this morning. The alarm was raised at 9:28am, triggering a rapid emergency response.
Four Fire Engines Battle the Flames
Four fire engines arrived swiftly, with crews wearing breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze. Firefighters worked hard and had the fire under control by 11:51am. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident.
Cause of Fire Still a Mystery
The reason behind the blaze remains unknown. Fire investigators are set to examine the vessel to find out how it started.
“Crews responded quickly to reports of a house boat fire at Hoo Marina this morning. Our teams worked effectively to bring the fire under control. No injuries have been reported and the cause is under investigation,” said a Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
