A heartbreaking incident at a popular Welsh holiday park has left a one-year-old girl dead following a collision. The tragedy unfolded at Bryn Gloch Caravan and Camping Park in Betws Garmon, near Caernarfon, at the foot of Snowdonia.
Deadly Crash Shakes Family-Friendly Campsite
The shocking accident happened around 10:20am on Monday, 28 April 2025. Emergency services rushed the seriously injured toddler to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool by air ambulance. Despite desperate efforts by medics, she sadly passed away later that afternoon.
Police Launch Investigation
North Wales Police have launched a full investigation into the circumstances of the crash. A coroner has been informed as inquiries continue to piece together what happened.
“Our profound sympathies remain with the girl’s family at this extremely difficult time,” said Sergeant Simon Hughes. “They will now be supported by a specially-trained family liaison officer. The investigation to establish the cause of the collision is well underway, and I would like to thank all those who assisted on the site today.”
