British Transport Police are urgently appealing for information after a man masturbated in front of a female passenger while smiling on a train bound for London Paddington.
The disturbing incident took place on Wednesday 20 March, aboard the 10pm service from Bristol Temple Meads.
Police say the man deliberately changed seats to sit opposite the victim, before exposing himself and beginning to masturbate while making direct eye contact and smiling.
The victim reported the incident to police shortly after.
Manhunt Underway
British Transport Police have released an image of a man they believe may have vital information about the offence.
A police spokesperson said:
“This was a deeply distressing experience for the victim. We take all reports of sexual offences seriously and are keen to speak to the man pictured.”
