Emergency services were called to Surbiton Railway Station on Victoria Road at approximately 10:30pm after reports that a person had been struck by a train, according to data from Transport for London and National Rail alerts.
The incident occurred on the South Western Railway network and has resulted in significant disruption to services running through the station.
Response and Investigation Underway
British Transport Police, paramedics, and fire services were quickly deployed to the scene. The status of the individual struck by the train is currently unknown, and no official statement on injuries or fatalities has been issued.
Platform closures are in effect as Network Rail engineers and investigators assess the site.
