Body Found in Search for Missing St Leonards Man
Police have found a body believed to be Simon, 42, who went missing in St Leonards on Thursday, 31 July 2025. A massive search effort involving police, coastguard teams, and volunteers was launched after Simon disappeared.
Family Notified as Investigation Continues
While formal identification is still pending, authorities say the body is likely Simon’s. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
“This is not the outcome we had hoped for. Our thoughts are with Simon’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time. We would also like to thank everyone who shared our appeals and assisted in the search,” a spokesperson said.
