Man in 70s Found Dead in Wheelchair on Quiet Larkhall Street

A pensioner in his 70s was discovered dead while strapped into a wheelchair on a quiet residential road in Larkhall.

Emergency Crews Rush to Valley View Close

Emergency services, including Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, were called to Valley View Close shortly after 11am on Monday, 11 August. They responded to reports of an unresponsive man.

Two ambulance crews, an ambulance operations officer, a first responder, and critical care medics from the air ambulance attended the scene. Despite their best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the location.

Police Confirm No Suspicious Circumstances

Avon and Somerset Police officers supported South Western Ambulance Service during the incident.

“Sadly a man, in his 70s, died. The cause of death is not considered to be suspicious. Our thoughts are with the man’s family who are aware of his death.”

Death Treated as Medical Incident

The man was found strapped into his wheelchair when emergency teams arrived. The death is being treated as a medical incident, with a file to be prepared for the coroner.
