Rugby cocaine dealer jailed for 30 months after detectives spot suspicious activity

A Rugby man has been jailed for 30 months after detectives caught him dealing cocaine on local streets.

Warwickshire Police officers, on patrol in an unmarked car, noticed 22-year-old Ersid Psyqyli driving repeated loops of local roads and carrying out exchanges with people.

He was promptly arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

A search of the room he had been renting uncovered 40 wraps of cocaine worth around £400, along with £228 in cash.

Psyqyli pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and was sentenced to 30 months in prison at Warwick Crown Court on 11 August.

Detectives said the sentence reflects the force’s commitment to tackling the supply of harmful drugs across the county.
