First Photo of West Sussex Mum Charged with Newborn Baby Murder
This is the first picture of 29-year-old Gintare Suminaite from Bognor Regis, now charged with murdering her newborn baby girl.
Tragic Scene in Aldwick Road
An ambulance rushed to an Aldwick Road address at 8:37am, where medics sadly confirmed the newborn’s death at the scene. Suminaite was taken straight to St Richard’s Hospital for urgent treatment.
Mum Arrested and Charged
Once released from hospital, Suminaite was arrested on suspicion of murder. She now faces charges and is set to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 11 April.
Police Not Hunting Anyone Else
Officers have confirmed they are not searching for any other suspects in connection with this tragic case.
