Priceless Bling Stolen From Appleshaw Home
The 45-year-old victim reported the raid after realising her treasured jewellery had vanished. The theft happened between 9pm on Tuesday, December 13 and 9.45pm on Friday, December 16.
Among the stolen items are:
- A rare 1970s Cartier Rivoli 1 gold watch, decked with diamonds and a gold bracelet
- An oval gold locket with a pearl cross, containing her baby son’s hair
- An art deco diamond and sapphire ring set in gold with three diamonds in a row
- A gold lattice bracelet with a lock
- A gold wedding ring from the early 1900s, passed down from her grandmother and engraved with a star
Sentimental Treasures Taken
“These items have a great deal of sentimental value for the victim,” said PC Graham Snelgar.
“The locket, for instance, holds baby hair from her son, who suffered a cardiac arrest aged just seven months. She kept it after he was discharged from hospital.”
“If you’ve been offered any of these pieces for sale or know where they are, we need to hear from you now.”
