A major crash involving a motorcyclist has brought Titchfield Lane in Fareham to a standstill tonight.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police shut down Titchfield Lane just before 5pm on Monday after a serious collision. Emergency services scrambled to the scene as traffic quickly ground to a halt in both directions.
Motorcyclist Airlifted to Hospital
A motorcyclist was treated on-site by a critical care doctor before being airlifted to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance. Their condition remains unknown.
Road Closure to Last for Hours
The police warned the lane will stay closed for several hours while accident investigators carry out their work. Tailbacks have already formed, causing heavy traffic jams all the way back to Wickham Village.
