Portsmouth City council are one of the first local authorities to be successful in receiving funding from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles to install electric vehicle charge points in residential areas. The Council have been awarded £100k towards the cost of the scheme, which will provide 50 electric vehicle charge points in residential areas that do not benefit from off-street parking.
