London Man charged in connection with six burglary offences

A 52-year-old man from London has been charged with six burglaries, five of which occurred in Woking. Steven De-St-Aubin of Ivatt Place, Hammersmith was charged with six counts of burglary and was remanded at Staines Magistrates Court today (27 April). Jewellery, watches, electronic devices and cash were stolen from five residential addresses in Woking on 20 April in Woking. An address in Wandsworth, London was broken into on 4 April and is believed to be part of the same series. Woking Neighborhood Temporary Sergeant James Wyatt, said: “As a force, we are committed to putting a stop to burglaries, with our officers and detectives working extremely hard to investigate reports of break-ins. We’re grateful of the information we receive from the public and ask that they continue to talk to us about their suspicions as well as alerting us to anyone who may be vulnerable to becoming a victim of burglary. “I want to make it clear to those considering breaking into people’s homes and taking their belongings that we will do everything in our power to put a stop to criminal activity.”
