Yobs Smash Newport Community Noticeboards – Again!
Vandals have struck AGAIN in Newport, trashing the community noticeboards on Sylvan Drive less than 24 hours after brand new replacements were installed. This mindless attack has left locals furious and the town scrambling for answers.
New Boards Gone in a Flash
Just yesterday morning, fresh noticeboards went up to keep the community informed. But overnight, scumbags sawed the legs in half, sending the boards crashing to the ground and shattering the glass front.
Town Clerk Speaks Out
“It is with great sadness that we have to report a very alarming act of vandalism upon our new notice board on Sylvan Drive,” said Daniel Faulkner, Newport’s town clerk. “The new notice board, only put up yesterday, was destroyed overnight. The crime has been reported to the police and we are hopeful we will find whoever is responsible.”
