The rider ignored Police orders to stop, sparking a high-speed chase that soared above the colourful chaos of the famous Notting Hill Carnival. Police helicopters swiftly joined the hunt to track the fleeing suspect.
Chase From Notting Hill to Northolt
The chase hurtled past the National Police Air Service (NPAS) base, who quickly mobilised to assist ground officers. The suspect sped all the way from Notting Hill past Heathrow Airport and on to Northolt, where NPAS62 took control of the aerial pursuit.
Met Police Bring Chase to an End
Officers from the Metropolitan Police finally stopped the bike, arresting the male rider. The daring stunt is under investigation as Police praise their teamwork in bringing a dangerous offender to justice.
