Two Men Jailed for Robbing Teen of Designer Trainers in Bicester
Two London men have been locked up after robbing a 16-year-old boy of his pricey trainers in Bicester.
Amir Talebi, 22, from Stockwell Road, Lambeth, and Naquan Davis, 22, from Grantham Road, Lambeth, were found guilty of robbery following a five-day trial at Oxford Crown Court that ended on 3 September.
Trainer Theft Turns Violent
The shocking attack happened just after 6:30pm on 14 May 2019 near the Burger King on the A41 in Bicester.

The victim escaped serious injury but was left shaken. Talebi was caught on 17 September 2019, and Davis was arrested on 19 January 2020. They were charged on 19 February 2020.
Jail Sentences Handed Down
Talebi was sentenced to three years for robbery.
Davis got three and a half years for robbery, plus nine months for carrying a blade, served concurrently.
Police Praise Victim and Witnesses
“This was a shocking incident… The violence shown, including threatening the victim with a bladed article, was completely unacceptable,” said Police Staff Investigator Nicola Manze.
“Thanks to the victim and a key witness for their patience and courage. The offenders came from outside the Thames Valley and will now serve significant custodial sentences.”
“We will not tolerate such criminality and will always bring violent offenders to justice.”
