Woman serious injured after fail to stop collision in Gillingham

Witnesses to a collision in Gillingham which left a woman in her 40s with a serious back injury are asked to contact Kent Police. Officers were called to the collision, which involved a pedestrian and a car in Napier Road, at 10.50am on Saturday 4 May 2019. The car involved is reported to be a black Vauxhall Corsa that left the scene prior to the arrival of the emergency services. The injured woman was taken to a London hospital where she remains in a serious, but stable, condition. At present no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
