Three people treated for injuries after collapsed structured in Reading

Reading. Further updates will follow when available. At 11.19am on Thursday, 1 August, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue received reports of a collapsed structure on Garrard Street, Reading. Garrard Street remains closed at this time, as does the NCP car park. Members of the public are advised that there is no access to the car park for pedestrians or vehicles at this time. Three people have been treated for injuries at the scene and have been taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service is being supported by an Urban Search and Rescue Team (USAR) from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service. Members of the public are being urged to avoid the area until further notice.
